Timing Belt Pulleys

Our main area of expertise at Alan Young Engineering is the manufacture of standard/custom timing belt pulleys.

We can manufacture various pulleys, from the simplest drive pulley to a cam pulley on the latest WRC car. We work very closely with Gates Power Transmissions regarding tooth profiles/belt specifications, which means we can advise you on various aspects of your design including:

• suitable material
• drive ratios
• tooth profiles
• tooth pitch
• belts etc.

We work with a large range of materials, and carry many of them in stock ensuring a quick turnaround – these include various grades of aluminum, stainless steels, plastics, steels, brass, bronze, etc.

Using our network of subcontractors we can provide various treatments including anodizing, chrome plating, zinc plating, chemical blackening, hardening/heat treatment, etc.
