Alan Young Engineering is a small, flexible company that caters specifically for timing belt pulleys ordered in small quantities or as one-offs .
The machining facilities we have:
- CNC Turning with Bar-Feed
- CNC Milling with 4th Axis
- Manual Turning and Milling
- Gear-Cutting up to 600mm diameter by 1 metre long, 24" to 40" length
- Internal Gear-Shaping
- Measurement by Co-ordinate Measuring Machine.
We have facilities to gear cut pitches of 0.080" to 1 1/4" and also from 2mm to 14 mm.
Prototypes and finished products are made in a variety of of materials ranging from plastics, heat treatable steels, aluminiun alloys and titanium.
